The Stadium of Light was built to replace Roker Park and opened in 1997. It is built on the site of the old Monkwearmouth Colliery just north of the River Wear. However it’s more than just a football stadium. It has hosted concerts from Beyonce, Take That, Pink and Coldplay and many thousands of students from the University of Sunderland have graduated there.
This Stadium of Light aerial print is currently available to buy online in the 18×6″ (45.72×15.24cm) borderless landscape panorama size only. If you would like a different size then please contact me. Your print will be printed on archival photographic paper at the professional photographic lab. Please note that your print will be delivered without a mount or frame.
